Go wild and explore a world of wildlife.

The Lake District Wildlife Park is an award winning Wildlife Park set in breathtaking scenery just ten minutes from Keswick.

Plenty of wide open spaces and an A to Z of animals from every corner of the world. Meet over 100 species from Anaconda to Zebra, Mandrills and Meerkats to endangered species like Asian Fishing Cats, Gibbons and Lemurs.

New for 2014 is Meili our Red Panda, she sits quietly in her Oak tree – so make sure you take time to spot her! We’ve also got a herd of Micro Pigs with piglets this spring. Just born – a new set of Meerkats and a ZEBRA FOAL

There are Bird of Prey Flying displays, excellent Keeper Talks, Reptile Encounters and a Rare Breed Farm Animal Collection. It’s fun for all the family, educational and a great opportunity to meet some of our most endangered species. Play areas (indoors and out) picnic sites and a café.

Why not try a personal Animal Encounter – fly Hawks, meet the Meerkats, encounter the Lemurs or enjoy a Keeper Experience with the Tapirs, Meerkats and Lemurs. A great day out for all the family, so don’t forget your camera.

Open daily 10am to 5.30pm or dusk if earlier. Last admission is at 5pm.
