“Great value in a superb location”

Low Briery is set in a lovely location on the river Greta about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick on the old railway path. It consists of a variety of properties, apartments, cabins, lodges and caravans.
I visited this complex along with 23 friends and we stayed in 6 apartments, each having a double and a twin. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Decor and furniture a little old fashioned but perfectly acceptable. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us most welcome. It was a perfect location for a group of walkers being able to walk from the site to a variety of locations both mountain and valley. It was a peaceful site, only the river and birds to disturb you! The whole group were delighted and were able to have a great social weekend having the apartment block to ourselves. I would strongly recommend this accommodation for groups of walkers and cyclists. It was also extremely good values for money. . —LindaWirral, Wirral

“Great place, definetly go again”

This is a great place for a holiday/base as just a very short walk into the town centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was easy to find. Lovely views and accommodation with things to do as a family. —Kittykat7896, Cumbria

“Another Brilliant Stay”

It’s immaculately looked after, staff on hand if you need them and a cracking location. As we have the dog we get the same van a 2 bed one down by the river it’s a lovely spot and they all have a picnic table outside with space for a BBQ, which incidentally you can hire if you’ve forgotten yours. —Mrs_D01, Sunderland

“Great Place”

We have been to Low Briery many times over the year’s. Excellent place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained, quiet location but close to Keswick centre, perfect for our dogs, looking forward to returning again. —John J, Telford

“Great Family Friendly Site”

We stayed here with extended family and 3 young children. Stayed in Briery House which was perfect so we could all be together. Children’s indoor play area was used every day by the kids and the paddling pool is a perfect depth for little ones. Easy 20 min walk along old railway line into Keswick is ideal for buggies or bikes as is all off road. —carrymat

“Superb Accommodation”

We stayed in a Canadian Log Cabin over the Easter period. The accommodation was extremely tidy and well equipped. The site has a games area where my 2 sons loved playing ping pong and pool. We go away for a week each Easter and will definitely return next year as the site is so good and there is so much to do in the local area. —Mike790316, Princes Risborough

We have stayed at Low Briery for two years running now and find that it is absolutely spot on for us. Situated on the old Railway Line, turn right out of the park and you’re on your way to town, turn left and you’re on the way to Latrigg and Skiddaw, or if you continue on you can get to Threlkeld. A lovely walk. —hotel_mazza, Wales

“Lovely Cottage”

We shared a 2 bedroom cottage with our daughter and her boyfriend for a walking holiday and couldn’t fault it. The whole place was spotlessly clean and cosy throughout our stay. Two bathrooms made a huge difference and there was unlimited hot water which is great when you come back from a very wet day on the fells. Will certainly come again. —Sharon M, Durham

“Weekend Break”

We needed a weekend break, so we thought instead of trying to get a B&B we would do something different and try a timber lodge. We loved it! So much more space and comfort than any B&B we’ve been in, and it was great getting up in the morning and having breakfast when we wanted it and not when someone else tells you it’s time to eat. It’s a very nice holiday village peaceful, very pretty, the lodge is quite big, clean, comfy, all needs met, have nothing negative to add. We are fussy so that’s a compliment, in fact we were sorry to leave! —Bozzie123

“Great Place To Stay Over New Year”

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 dogs and we stayed in a timber lodge for 4 nights over new year. It was a warm, clean, cosy log cabin. Some nice little touches on arrival – bottle of mulled wine and mince pies, and a xmas tree which the wife loved! —iainw1, Chester
