Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got Q’s, we’ve got A’s. If your Q isn’t A’d on this page, please contact us.

1. What time can I check-in?

The earliest check-in time on your day of arrival is 3pm. This allows us the time to clean and prepare the accommodation for your arrival. If you will be arriving after 7pm please let us know by telephone or email so that we can make arrangements for you to collect your keys.

2. What time do I check-out?

Your accommodation must be vacated by 10:30am on your day of departure.

3. Do I need to bring anything with me?

Apart from your lovely self, you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries. Your bed linen is all provided for you.

4. Can I bring my pet?

Most but not all of our accommodation welcome house trained, adult dogs. Please check property descriptions to make sure. Dogs are charged at £20.00 per dog, per week/part week. For any other type of pet including those with scales, feathers or more than 4 legs, please contact us to make sure we can accept them.

We charge £100 deposit per property. The full amount is payable if your arrival date is less than 30 days away.

7. When is the balance for my holiday due?

Your balance payment will be due 30 days before your arrival date.

8. Are there any party restrictions?

As Low Briery is a family holiday park, we are unable to accept reservations from anybody under the age of 18. There may also be restrictions on single sex parties and work groups. Please contact us if you are unsure. We apologise in advance, but under no circumstances can we accept stag/hen parties.

9. Will I have access to Wi-Fi?

We have site-wide Wi-Fi here at Low Briery. While we try to ensure that all properties have access, we cannot guarantee that every room within your accommodation will have a connection.

10. How far is Low Briery from the nearest town?

Low Briery is located about 1 mile from the town centre of Keswick. The Old Railway footpath just behind us takes you into town. At a steady walking pace it should take 20-25 minutes or 5 minutes by car.

11. How do I get to Low Briery?

Because we don’t want to have to organise a search and rescue, we’ve provided you with some handy directions. If you still find yourself in the back of beyond contact us and we will point you in the right direction.

12. Where do I collect my keys?

Once you have arrived at Low Briery, your keys can be collected when you check-in at reception.

13. Where do I park?

We have plenty of parking at Low Briery. In most cases we can get you parked virtually outside your front door, however some accommodation may require a short walk. If you or anybody in your party has walking difficulties please contact us so that we can advise you on suitable accommodation.

14. Is there a shop at Low Briery?

As Keswick and all its facilities are so close, we don’t have a shop or bar at Low Briery.

15. How do I cancel my reservation?

Should you need to cancel your stay with us we will need you to confirm in writing via email or post. Providing you cancel more than 30 days before your arrival date you will receive a full refund minus a £25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days before your arrival date you are liable for the full amount due and no refund can be offered. Because life can be unpredictable, we strongly recommend that you invest in some form of travel insurance.
